I barely got 20K miles of tread life from these tires. Lots of hydroplaning in the rain, and absolutely terrible in light snow. Definitely would not buy again. Hyundai Elantra.
Awesome tires. On my second set!
I have been a long time fan of Michelin tires but thought it time to shop around. My last tires for this vehicle were GY TripleTreds. Remarkable tires! This particular vehicle is a low use vehicle now, 6k miles a year, so I wasn't shopping for high mileage. I wanted traction. If I hold on to this vehicle, I am sure to change the tires for age rot not wear! The steering response (resistance) of Michelins, which I find track strongly, are not a characteristic of these tires. Ride noise is fair. Ride comfort is fair to good.
We live in an area that gets cold temperatures during the winter, a set of dedicated winter tires can make a world of difference. Contrary to popular belief, it's not the tread that makes all the difference, it's the rubber. Even if your daily driver has all-wheel drive, traction control, and a really great set of all-season tires, it might not go anywhere if cold temperatures turn your tires into rocks.
All American Brake & Tire can help you find the tire that fits your performance and budget needs.
