It's a good riding tire, but had to replace after just 14 months. The tires were worn down. One star!
Car & Driver rated these tires number one for Wet Traction in their Monsters of Grip Shootout. Higher than Michelin Pilot SS. In South Florida that is my priority as I'm not tracking my car or trying to shave a tenth of a second off lap times. They are super quiet, long lasting and about 5 pounds a tire lighter than their competitors. For the price these tires are a no brainer.
Replaced the run flats and like these very much. Excellent snow traction and still fine dry handling. Good all around compromise if you do not want dedicated snows.
Replaced the OEMs with these for better tread life. Gave up a little handling but well worth it. These outlast the Michelin (OEM). I got 17K miles vs. 12K out of them. I would buy these again and they were a better price. Replaced all four but this was not a drop down option above.
We live in an area that gets cold temperatures during the winter, a set of dedicated winter tires can make a world of difference. Contrary to popular belief, it's not the tread that makes all the difference, it's the rubber. Even if your daily driver has all-wheel drive, traction control, and a really great set of all-season tires, it might not go anywhere if cold temperatures turn your tires into rocks.
All American Brake & Tire can help you find the tire that fits your performance and budget needs.
