I have a Chrysler minivan. This tire provides a very soft ride. It is quiet and you can really tell a quiet tire from a noisy tire on a Chrysler. Traction in snow is great. I bought 2 of them used with 9/32nds tread depth left and immediately upon installation I could notice a positive difference vs. my worn out tires. Likely this tire is much less expensive than the Michelin Defenders I have which on my vehicles (2008 and 2010 Town and Countries) will likely last 60,000 miles at 2/32" left. The Firestone All-Season is quieter than a Defender and provides a less harsh ride. Even if it might get less mileage, the lower cost probably makes the cost per mile equal or better and you get a quieter, more luxurious ride. These tires are plenty responsive. Much better ride than the obsolete Firestone Affinity Touring tire model. The next time I need a new set of tires for a 2008-2015 Chrysler minivan with 225/65-16 size tires, the Firestone All-Season model will be the first that I quote! Dodge and Chrysler minivan owners, THIS is YOUR tire!
We live in an area that gets cold temperatures during the winter, a set of dedicated winter tires can make a world of difference. Contrary to popular belief, it's not the tread that makes all the difference, it's the rubber. Even if your daily driver has all-wheel drive, traction control, and a really great set of all-season tires, it might not go anywhere if cold temperatures turn your tires into rocks.
All American Brake & Tire can help you find the tire that fits your performance and budget needs.
